(Isn't this the cutest edible decoration! Karen made it with a cantaloupe, pear, raisin eyes, and fruit kabobs.)
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We were able to enjoy several days with our family with zero responsibility and it was fabulous! Wednesday we spent the day at Grandma JoAnn's baking cookies with Aunt Kelsy, Calin, Aunt Lindsy, and Danny. Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Ekart's and Dillon's at Grandpa and Grandma Ekart's. Friday this crazy Lady was in line at Target at 1:45am with my girlfriends Paula and Audrey to take FULL advantage of some black Friday sales. I managed to stay awake for the annual KC shopping later that morning/day with Karen, Kris, Kelsy, and Lindsy. Then Saturday we celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family at Mom's house. My Aunt Jan and Uncle John were able to make it from Wichita and it was so good to get to spend some time with them.
Will thought Christmas was in November this year! He discovered all of his black Friday buys and we ended up opening the Wii and Paper Jam guitar early. He is really good at bowling on the Wii and hasn't set the guitar down. I am disappointed that we won't get the fun surprise on film Christmas morning but since he has had so much fun with them I am easily getting over it.
We all took pictures on Thursday so I will have to post a few once I sort through them. I wasn't real satisfied with Joe, Will and I's so we went out to the lake today and were able to get some better ones.
Oh and we will find out for sure what the little babe is TOMORROW! I have been thinking it might be a girl for several weeks for no good reason. The urine test did say it was a boy but something in me thought girl. Joe and Will continue to say girl too. We did the pencil test on Thanksgiving and the results continue to say it will be a boy. If you haven't ever done the pencil test I highly suggest trying it out. It tells you the order of your children. It was dead on every time any female that had children did the test. For example, Kare has Joe, Kelsy, Lindsy and the test results were boy, girl, girl no matter who performed the test or how many times we did it. I was totally freaked out by how accurate it was for EVERYONE. So, it will be interesting to see if it is right for me. SO,SO,SO EXCITED TO KNOW!
