Joe's First Fathers Day was a lot of fun. We had a busy weekend with the Turner wedding but we reserved Sunday just for him. We joined Ryan, Candice, and Hayden for a BBQ on Friday night that was also a lot of fun (especially for Candice and I because we were out shopping while Ryan and Joe cooked up the steaks and came home to ready to eat food!) The wedding Saturday was so special and turned out wonderful despite the morning mists. Okay, back to Sunday, we started the day off right with early Mass, then headed to Dillons to get the ingredients for Daddy's new ice cream maker attachment for our Kitchenaid Mixer. After making the batch of ice cream (who knew this would end up being such a long process!), lunch, and a nap we headed out to the Timbercreek pool for a couple of hours. Then, we finished up the ice cream, put it back into the freezer, and made fried chicken for dinner. All mom can say is YUMMMMMO! I found myself wondering if it was really a Mother's Day celebration!?!?!? Ha

Oh and on a side note, Will is recovering from Staph infection on his knee:

and we switched to forward facing in our car seat. We are just at the min. weight limit but he is a much happier rider now.
