Fast forward one week for Stacy's visit home. It was short but sweet. We had a BBQ at Uncle Ryan and Candice's. Will enjoyed this because it was nice enough to be outside. He LOVES being outside. It was good to spend time with some old family friends that were there too. The rest of her visit consisted of shopping, shopping, and more shopping! On Sunday when we were telling everyone bye for the weekend Will waved bye to Uncle Ryan! He hasn't done it as defined since but he does still half try. Another milestone that happened over her visit was his 5th tooth coming in. He has been cranky for a while so it was nice to finally have a reason to explain it.
Lastly, just wanted to let everyone know kind of where Will is at as far as developmentally. He is really starting to understand how his toys are supposed to work. He pushes the shapes through the shape sorter (with help deciding where they go), he puts the ball in the gutter of his learning house (and it plays a little diddy and falls out), and he is really cruising around the furniture. I bet walking is in the near future. When we are outside he doesn't like to crawl on the cement so he tries to "bear crawl". Taking him outside has ruined his perfect baby skin. His knees are all dark and scratched up now :( Hopefully the next posts wont be so long in between each other!
